Marine Kar

Karla Kay Spindler (now Mrs. Minick) was a Marine. She not only was fierce with an iron and a buffer, she was also trained how to use intentional weapons of various sorts. This site includes some of the dangerous side of Miss Karla that some of you may have guessed lies just beneath that cheerful exterior. Please feel free to comment, particularly since August 26, 2005 is her 40th birthday. But in light of what you now know about her; be wise....

Karla,

Happy 40th! I hope you enjoy the 40's as much as I do. It's a great decade! You're a good friend, a standard bearer, a true Proverbs 31 woman: a woman of noble character worth far more than rubies! :) Bless you, girl, and have a great birthday!

Stacy

PS. Russ, what a special gift. Thank you for sharing it with all of us. I will watch what I say to Karla around sharp objects! ha!

Dear Karla -
I'm more awed by the things you have done post-Marine Corps than what you did while in! You and Russ are an incredible testimony and I'm touched to have known you! Blessings as you turn 40. May I do it just as gracefully in 41 days!
Keep taking care of those beautiful babies, and from what it sounds like - the rest of the world!

Semper Fi!

Happy Birthday Karla! I remember you telling us (at the womens retreat)about your falling in love with Russell and how he shared his love of Jesus with you and how you cried and wanted that same love. You are and have been such a role model for me and my family. I am so fortunent in having had you share in 2 very special events in my life. (mama's funeral and Lindsey's wedding) how cool is that HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM TIM, ELLEN, BARRETT, AND LINDSEY-GLEN
